Very excited about today - we're going to visit the Lower Ninth Ward and more of St Bernard Parish before going to join the after school program. This means that we're done with house-gutting for the week - and that actually comes as something of a relief. We were all here to make a contribution and I really think we've done that, but the physical and emotional effort caught up with everyone yesterday. I'm not expecting either the drive through the Lower 9th or the visit to the school to be a walk in the park, but I do think it rounds off the week nicely - and means that people have slept past 7am today, which was much needed.
